The Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island is steps from the beach and close to top diving and snorkeling spots, including the Blue Heron Bridge. Florida is no stranger to deep diving, but many travelers are unaware that The Palm Beaches is home to hundreds of spectacular dives for all skill levels. In fact, people come from all over the world to dive the Blue Heron Bridge at Phil Foster Park. It’s known as one of the best shore dive sites in the world (meaning divers don’t jump out of a boat, but literally wade through the water and dive from shore). It is teeming with colorful marine life and a wide variety of underwater species. It is not uncommon to see seahorses, pipefish and even octopus. If you’re not a scuba diver, there’s a special trail just for scuba divers (aptly named Snorkel Trail). The depth around the Blue Heron Bridge ranges from 4 feet at the entry point to 20 feet near the shipwrecks. The Snorkel Trail ranges from 10 to 15 feet.
