ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) – IMPACT 100 Pensacola Bay Area announced this year’s grant recipients on October 17 in Pensacola.

These nonprofits will receive $ 101,820 each, according to a press release from IMAPCT 100 Pensacola Bay Area.

The recipients for each category are:

ARTS, CULTURE AND HISTORY

  • Pensacola Children’s Choir, Inc.
    Project: PUMP UP THE VOLUME:
    Build trust with reliable audio equipment
  • Pensacola Lighthouse Association, Inc.
    dba Pensacola Lighthouse & Museum
    Project: Shedding Light on Buried History

EDUCATION

  • Escambia County Public School Excellence Foundation, Inc.
    Project: Revitalization of the innovation center of Pensacola high school
  • United Methodist House for Children
    dba Embrace Florida Kids
    Project: A higher education institution: Global support for vulnerable young people for college success

ENVIRONMENT, LEISURE & PRESERVATION

  • The Gateway Arc, Inc.
    Project: L’Arc Gateway SHRED WORKS
  • Bream Fishermen Association, Inc. and PYC Satori Foundation, Inc.
    Project: Taking the Coast for the Kids – Improving our Waterways through Science and Recreation
