Holly Parker, top broker Douglas Elliman, heads south.
Parker’s team spans South Florida and brings in Samantha Curry, one of Elliman’s top producing agents in Palm Beach. Parker’s team has been ranked in the top two at Elliman for more than a decade, and Curry is ranked as the third most productive agent in Florida for the New York-based brokerage, according to a statement. It has sold properties totaling $ 130 million so far this year.
Parker said she was in the process of getting her Florida real estate license. His team has three agents in Florida, including Michael Passaro, and 14 in New York. She said the decision to expand was a “natural progression” as more of her clients buy homes in South Florida.
Curry was involved in the $ 42.6 million sale of a unit at the Bristol in West Palm Beach last year, which set a record for condo sales in Palm Beach County.
Parker hopes to expand throughout South Florida in terms of market reach and number of agents. His team has closed nearly $ 8 billion in sales in its history, according to Elliman.
“This is our first stop, and we will continue,” she said.
A number of agents have moved or spread to Florida since last year amid the massive wealth migration. In January, Compass’s Assouline team, led by Ruthie and Ethan Assouline, moved to Miami.
